Sunday was a beautiful day in Seattle, It was rare that we have such a beautiful day in Seattle. The sky was blue and the air was cool. Vicky and I decided to go a hike. We are usually not the hiking type, but with such beautiful weather, we really wanted to get out and check out the Seattle hiking scene. So my backpack loaded with food and drink, we are ready to go.

Our destination was Rattlesnake Ridge, near North Bend, WA.

It was a short drive to the base and we are off. The trail was rated ad moderate, and it is only a 1 hour hike up and 1 hour down for the total of 4 miles. I can tell you that the hike up was much tougher than my hike down. Maybe because it was the 72 mile bike ride the day before? hummm….

Anyways… at the top it was packed full of people, but it was beautiful.
