Today is my first Saturday in Hillsboro, Or. Today I went to visit downtown Portland on their light rail metro system. It was pretty good … Better than I expected. The only problem I had with it is that when it actually got to downtown, it was fast to walk than to ride the light rail. I wonder if Houston’s Metro rail will be similar to the light rail here in Portland. The only thing, I have to say is that if Houston want people to use it more they need to extend it out to the out skirts like Sugarland or something… same as Portland extend their rail system to Hillsboro.
