It was fun last night. I got a chance to see the Houston Symphony. I guess the experience is good and ok. It was pretty good to go see the Symphony with my girlfriend and it was different experience. As for “OK”, well… in a way the piece that we listened to was like a 2 hour long Mass. Everything they sang was in Latin. There were lots and lots of repetition. Being Catholic, I do think it is kind of neat… but the repetition parts do get boring pretty quick. And so here is where my Auburn education prevails. During the concert, I started to have flash backs about my Music Appreciation class in Auburn. It was a awful nightmare, but the funny thing is that I actually started to understand the up and down of Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis. So I guess all in all I give it a 6 out of 10. Oh well�.. time to get back to work.
