Woo Hoo... counting down time until the end of June 2002... Once again ... it is good to be back home. My friends, Eric and Hsuan, dropped by this evening. It was fun to catch up and watch a HK movie. The movie we watched was called "Marry a rich Man". It was a romantic comedy. It was pretty funny. Anyway, it was alot of fun... and so ends another wonderful Sunday. |

On the way to lunch today, we pass by the Enron Building and saw some girls getting their pictures taken in front of the Enron logo. It took us a minute until we realized who they were. What gave it away was that, one of the girls had a copy of Playboy in her hand. DUDE! They're ?The Girls of Enron?, Playboy?s special feature. But I have to say this, they were not much to look at. I don?t think I will be racing to get a copy at the nearest news stand. Darn? I did not have my digital camera with me. It would have been fun to get a picture with them though. |

So this afternoon I finally went to the doctor. I spend about 15 min waiting in the waiting room.. another 5 mins in the checkup room and then I saw the Doc for 5 mins. She said I am probably coming down with something... but I am still ok right now. She gave me some decongestion pill and send me home. Humm... I am starting to wonder maybe I should have been a doctor instead of an engineer. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying their job is easy, but it just seems that it is almost like a technican type job.. except you are trying to patch the human body system instead of some other mechanical system. How interesting.... Well, I don't know if it is mental or the pill actually works... but my ear is feeling a bit better. |

"Am I sick ... or am I not sick... that is the question" You ever have this problem that when you are about the go to the doctor, all the sudden you feel better. I mean you may not really feel better, but just the thought of going to see a doctor for some minor stuff make you think that "this is stupid". Well, this is how I am feeling right now. I don't know if I feel better already or if the discomfort is still there and I am just use to it. My appointment is at 3:30. |

Ok... going to the doctors has now officially on my things that suck list. Well, I was suppose to have an appointment this morning, just few minutes ago I got a call from the clinic telling me that they will have to reschedule. Well, that's all nice and dandy except I was planning to take half day and I am already late for work now. Oh well... now I need to get ready and head to the office. The Health Service in El Paso Building was no help. I went over there and told them that my ear feels funny. They look in my ear... and said... "humm.. there are a lot of wax.. but I can't tell what's going on. Please go to the doctor!" So they call the doctor and got me an appointment for tomorrow. So...I have to suffer my ear problem for another day. |

Warcraft 3 is awesome!!! We played some WC3 last night at Scotts place... it was pretty cool. There was one problem though. For some reason, WC3 did not work with scott's voodoo 3 card. All in all it is a very cool game, everyone should check it out.

So... I just finish watching 2 1/2 seasons of Spiderman: The animated series. It was alot of fun. The only thing that bothered me was that the series ended with it hanging. Peter Parker never found Mary Jane. Besides that ... it was pretty awesome. |

I just got back from lunch with my friends, Scott and Dwayne. I believe we all ate too much. I definitely need to work out to night to get rid of some excess fat. We took the Metro trolley back from lunch. All I have to say is Houston's Trolley system is messed up. During our trip back from lunch, the trolley stopped twice and the driver disappeared twice. I mean, she just left the trolley running and disappeared. What gives??

AH... it?s pretty cool... I just finish watching a TLC special on "The Street Magician: David Blaine". It was pretty cool, but there was one part that really boggled me. It was the levitation bit. On the program, it clearly showed that he floats a few inches off the ground and the crowed was amazed. Well, being a curious and scientific person, I did some searching on the net and found the answer. It is actually a pretty simple illusion. So here is what I found. Check it out!!!

On my way home to work ... I decided to be a really big geek and see how many Wireless Access points I can pick up. So I downloaded Netstumbler and started scanning. On my way home, I have picked up 15 different non-elpaso Wireless Access points. Out of the 15 I picked up, I was able to sync and obtain an IP once, and 12 of those AP's are not WEP secured. Kinda makes you wonder huh? I might post a full listing of public access location around town sometime. |

Yes... it is another Friday night. Tonight is a bit different. Don't get me wrong, I still miss my family and gf in Alabama, but I had fun tonight. So what happened? Well, after work today, I followed my friend Scott to one of his "staff meetings" at Slick Willy's in Bayou Place. It's pretty cool. We had some beer and played pool. I have to say, El Paso got some upper management that can play some pool. Yep, needless to say.... I got my butt whooped!!! Afterward, I went to Osaka's ... which I have to say is one of the best sushi places in Houston. They have really fresh fish and the sushi chief is friendly and honest. I like it. So as you can see... pretty nice evening huh? {sigh} but I still miss Hsiu Hsiu. |

Ah... couple more hours until the end of another wonderful weekend. So what did I do today? Uh... absolutely nothing productive. Well... I did start my plan to start studying today. How? Well, I lend my PS2 to my good friend Scott. I also show him a very awesome game, Final Fantasy X. If any of you guys out there that have a PS2 ... you must get FFX. I can't belive we are half way through 2002. It seems just yesterday 2001 was over and I moved to Houston. Boy! time sure moves fast!!! Well, today is rent day.
