My wife took all of my old college shirts and had a quilt made out of them. It looks nice, and has a wonderful new function. It’s unique too! Maybe you could do the same with your old shirts.

They are 4×3 listed as 4×3 but as I stated above they are around 4′ and the other side is a bit less than 3′ high (around 2’8″). So I had to reduce my frame size.

Thelma’s Barbecue is AWESOME! I had heard about it when a few of my friends at TSU kept bragging about it on twitter. I thought I’d finally give it a try. Now, walking in, i was taken back abit, but oh well, this is the “hood” as they say. I ordered the chopped beef sandwich, received it in that next 15 minutes, and must I say, it’s as big a serving as a Chili’s restaurant. And when I tell it was DELICIOUS, I am not lying. I love this place and I now know where I will faithfully go to eat my lunch.

My advice is to change your password ASAP to your blog account and then start looking for the bad scripts. Your hosting service may have a way to see what files have been changed. It is only on facebook, it is probably exactly the same problem that I had.

It worked wonderfully! Apple Support was saying that I would need to replace the phone, since it was out of warranty I would have to pay the upgrade price for a refurbished one. Thank you so much!

Thanks a lot! It works great for me too. I’ve cleaned the 1st mic but not the 2nd one before. The iPhone repair stores could have charged dozen of dollars if I do bring the phone to them.

I found their response very amusing. My favorite part was when they were “sorry for your disappointment” rather than “Sorry for putting glass in your food.”

Customer service these days seem to be about generic, empathetic-sounding, press-ready responses. It’s kinda sad.

Ultimately it was the food provider’s fault; still, a shorter response with a more pro-active tone would have been much more satisfying:

“I’m so sorry that happened. I checked the list of ingredients and glass is not there. Are you a vegetarian? We treat those people so badly some times.

I contacted the food service provider and have started an investigation because, you know, we’re against _killing passengers_. I’ll let you know the results. In lieu of 20 skymiles, I’m mailng you a t-shirt that says “I flew delta and all I got was a salad with some glass shards.”

ok, some of that might not be totally appropriate, but I think the gist is right.

Anyway, yeah, a bad situation, and a failure of customer service.

Thanks Chris for your comment. I do realize that I sometime do complain alot, but I think you are missing the point. All I am really complaining about is the lack of customer service and nothing else. First, I believe that a company that state that they have one of the best customer service should have a certain levels of consistency and respect for their customers. With that said, Yes, I understand that not all fares are upgradeable, but the fact is my ticket was a K ticket and it was upgradeable and the fact is there are open seats. I also do travel alot and I find it frustrating when the rules are inconsistent and even more frustrating when then company is just simply trying to nickel and dime their supporting customers.

Second, the point for complaining about the broken glass in my food. Yes, I understand that those things can happen, but shouldn’t the Delta representatives show a little bit more care and be a little be more human, instead of immediately shifting it off to someone else. I think if they have just done a little bit more, I would have been ok. Also when I wrote the letter to them, if they provided me with some action items that would have been fine too, but instead, I get sorry you feel that way and here is 3700 skymiles. That is just plain rude.

That’s just my thoughts.

I do believe that you are complaining to much. First… the upgrade. If you REALLY want to sit in First Class… then pay for it. A discounted upgrade or comp upgrade is a added bonus… it is not 100% assured. I fly all of the time but some of the fares that I purchase are NOT upgradable, sometimes I have to upgrade my fare before I can upgrade my seat.
Second… It is too bad that glass was found in your salad, but this also happens EVERYWHERE… restaurants, bars, hotels, etc. It is an unfortunate incident and not intentional. As long as you were not hurt and you are ok then that should be a relief. To many times people think they are entitled to so much more. Live for today and stop dwelling on the small stuff. As I have always been told… Sh*t happens! Enjoy your day and fly safe!
