Happy New Year!!! 2008 Well... it is 11:00 PST and one more hour until end of 2007 and beginning of 2008. So I have one hour to quickly reflect on some of the things in 2007. Before I forget... WAR EAGLE Auburn won the Chick-fil-a Bowl (the bowl formally know as the Peach Bowl). It was a classic Auburn game... down to the wire with an OT score of 23-20 Auburn. Today is my parent's last day in Seattle, they are taking the red eye flight back to Alabama on New Years Eve. I miss them already. I can't believe how quickly 2 weeks went by and all the sudden I am alone in my apartment. So... 2007 was an interesting year. I accomplish some of the goals that I set in the beginning of the year... (look back on my old blog entry ;) but not all.so what happened in 2007... - Well... the biggest thing is that I left Ephrata, WA and Grant County PUD. It was a good job and it was a wonderful place, however, I wanted more, so I took a new direction with my career. I did not start my own consulting firm, but I did join a consulting firm called Sparling. - In 2007, I said good bye to few friends, I said hello to some new friends, and reconnected with some old friends. The most importantly, I re-establishing my relationship with Hsiu Hsiu. :) - I did well in school in 2007.. goal accomplished All A's for 2007... Yeah!! - I bought a cookbook and started cooking more... however that changed when I move to Seattle.. work and school got busy. - I did start investing. - I converted to being a Mac User... I am on a macbook now ;) - I bought an Iphone and I love it - I turn 31... gosh I am getting old. - All in all a pretty good year... So... Goals for 2008 (in no specific order) - Only 9 more credit hours left for school... Let's go for all A's. - Go for the gold at work!!! - Publish in a publication... (work encourages that too ;) - By a house - Visit Hsiu Hsiu more - Visit family more - Lose that dang weight! - Snowboard at Whistler - Cook more stuff myself :D - fix my stupid dents in my car... - be more flexible and stop being so stubborn sometimes :P I am sure there are more things I should be listing... I will update it as I think of new things :) Well... HAPPY NEW YEAR Everyone...

Few minor changes So... I made a few minor changes to my website and my blog. After toying with RSS and PHP, I finally decided to add my Facebook status feed to my blog page. so as you can see above. You now see my status. Pretty cool huh? as soon as I update it in Facebook, it will update the status here. So how do I do it? Well.. after searching for a while I finally ended up using MagPie RSS. It is a php package that let you easily add rss to your PHP enabled website. I am thinking in the long term doing some additional work and maybe pulling in some other RSS feeds on a separate page. It would be kinda cool huh? But anyways... hopefully before the work year and school year and snowboarding season really pick up again, I will have a chance to make few more changes. As for everything else... Well... I am looking for a house again. yep this time in Seattle. Gosh... it has been so long since I last bought a house... it will be strange to go through the process again ... this will be my 4th house purchase. |

Two Days After Xmas and Four Days before New Years It has been a pretty exciting Xmas this year. This year my family came up to Seattle to visit me and to celebrate Xmas here in Seattle. My relatives from Vancouver also drove down and stayed with me. My little 1000 sq ft. apartment was packet with 7 people. WOW!!! Anyways, on Xmas day, We all went to Steven's Pass to ski and snowboard. It was great!!! I love it!!! It was nothing but powder especially the back mountain.

Amazing snowboarding Few more days until Xmas. My finals are over and school is out. Oh and I got an A- on my real time system class... I can't believe it... but now that's done ... I am soo happy. Anyways... so yesterday my sister and I decided to take off and go snowboarding at Steven's Pass. I've never been too Steven's pass before and oh my gosh ... it is amazing!!! It was almost snowing the entire time we where there. When we were leaving there are around 3-4 inches of snow on our car. it was just amazing!!! As far as the slopes... it was so much better than Snoqualmie pass. It is almost like a larger Mission ridge with a back slop too... which btw was completely amazing. I went down this black diamond run on the back side and it was nothing but powder.... so nice.. all my falls were just on thick powder.... I love it!!! What a great way to start the holiday break!!! |

Finally ... it is over Oh ... after a hell of a semester it is finally over. I took my finals today and turned in the final report.... oh my head hurts... but it is over... I finally can do things again. right? oh... now ... it is time to concentrate on work for a few days. On the other notes... my family is here in Seattle with me this week. It is so wonderful. I actually get good food and of course it's great to spend time with my family. |

Procrastination is a disease I really believe I am at the terminal stage of procrastination sickness. I have almost no motivation doing any more school work and it is starting to affect my work work as well. It really bites. This week is going to be pretty crazy.. my family is coming this weekend. I have a final and a project due. I also have work work and oh... don't forget about snow. Yep... snow is coming this week. I still have to xmas shop too... DOH!!!! anyway... I been going to the nice little Japanese restaurant next to work. It's called Matsu Sushi. It's pretty nice. I had some Katsudon today. Sigh... it really makes me miss cooking my own katsudon. So...why am I not doing it anymore? Please see above. I miss Hsiu. Oh... and I love~~~ my iphone... oh... everything just syncs up so well... my music, podcasts,... humm.. I should do a short review on it sometime... |

BlogKomm Fixed? Wow... after soo long... I finally think that I got the stupid blogkomm commenting script fixed. It is sooo silly.. but the author of blog komm gave me a tip and I got it changed and fixed. I think.. Thanks again. I will try it now. |
