Well, what a interesting day it was. I was in Spokane all day yesterday for my PE exam. The day started around 5:00 am. I showed up at the exam site around 7:00 am, I would not believe it. I though I had alot of books, but I saw a girl with a push kart full of books, it was like she was moving. I don't think all those books helped. As for me, I think my books helped alot. I only wish I had my controls book and my computer designs book. The exam lasted 8 hours. 4 in the morning 4 in the afternoon. Around 6:00 pm, I was finally done. so SUSHI time!!! Yeah... I had Japanese food for all three of my meals in Spokane :P Anyway, in couple of weeks, we will see how I did. But I have to say after yesterday, I feel like a load off.... Next exam .. CCNP - Remote Access. |

I just got back from Terry's going away party. Yes... our friend and mommy figure in the Zipp program is moving to a different position in the District. She is moving to Moses Lake office, so tonight is her going away party. I took my camera with me and I took tons of photos. The only problem is that I don't have a USB2 card reader and it is taking forever for me to get the files off of the camera. I need either a USB2 card reader or another way to download the pictures. Hopefully, you guys will see the pictures soon. |

Well... another beautiful Saturday. Just cleaning up the house and listening to Auburn's Home Coming game. My little sister is in Auburn Today watching the game. I bet that is exciting. I wish I was there with my lovely Hsiu Hsiu. As for Hsiu Hsiu, she is in Shanghai right now. The exciting news is that I will be visiting her next month. So which leads me to a surprise this morning.... Well.. in preperation for my first trip to China... I thought it would be really nice if I had a better camera... Say a 20D or a 10D or a D70 or even a 300D. So I use Cniper.com, a free auction sniper software, and bid on a 300D. A major surprise to me, I won the bid this morning for $631 dollars. WOW ... $631 for a Canon Digital Rebel SLR 300D Camera. WOW!!! That is for Body and basic EF-S lens too. We will see how good the deal really is when it arrives. But I am kind of excited. I guess this camera would be a Birthday present for me :P BY THE WAY ... WAR EAGLE!!! |

After two weeks of being in Shanghai, I finally hear my lovely Hsiu Hsiu's voice again. Oh her wonderful sweet sweet voice. I do miss her so much. Well, anyway... once again, VoIP bridge the big ocean between us. The quality was not super duper but it is better than super expensive long distance calls. |

So what a way to spend my 1 year at the PUD. So today I did not get home until 9:40 pm. And no... I was not having a party. I was working. Very fustrating work. The worst part, I did not solve the problem. GRRRRR.... |

Happy 1 Year anniversary!!!! Today is my one year anniversary working here at the PUD. I can't believe that it is one year already. I have learned so many things and so many things have changed in the PUD since I got here. For example, currently I am on my sixth supervisor and the fiber project is not moving as fast as I expected. It is mostly because of political BS. So after one year, what do I think about Grant County and Ephrata? Not bad, it is a lot smaller than Houston, but hey? 2 and a half hours away from Seattle. Now, that is a pretty cool town. Still I can?t believe that so many things have changed and so many things stays the same. Some of the things that stayed the same ? 1) I still have a house in Houston? what gives? someone want to buy a townhouse in Houston? 2) No updates on my website in a long while? just too busy ? no time? not even for blogs? crazy.. huh 3) Still the same car ... for now.. that may change soon... got to sell the house first Some of the things that changed?. 1) I am engaged ? but no wedding plans yet 2) Hsiu Hsiu graduated ? and it is now in Shanghai? I miss her so much 3) There are other small things ... but I just don't remember right now. 4) ... oh .... I guess that means I am getting more forgetful. |
