Man.. what a busy day... been running around to 4 GW to do some moves, adds, and changes. Boy, that pho I had for lunch is really a sinker... I mean there must be something in that soup... my tongue is really messed up. But anyway... my laptop seems to be running a little bit better... hey .. I got 64 extra megs of memory in it... I know I know, in today's day and age that doesn't sound like much... but still.... better than nothing... so now ... my laptop has a grand total of 300 + megabits of memory. Woo hoo!!! |

Well... it is official... I do have to track every second of my work day... so they can see if I am needed or not. Oh and here is the stupid part about all of this, you need to keep track of all your time you spend at work but do not spend all your time keeping your time or else you will probably be outsourced. Ok... here is the age old question. If you are keeping track of everysecond of your work... wouldn't you need at least another half day to sort everything out and make it in to a presentable format??? But of course you can't count those hours.... When is the economy going to improve so I can say "screw you guys... I am going home!!!" |

I am still here at work testing out the express messaging system on the voicemail system. It sound so cool ... Express mail system.. but in reality it is just leaving a message on someone voice mail without giving them a chance to answer. It is like a short cut to the voicemail system.... Woo hoo... anyway... I had a pretty good lunch. My buddy Raymund came down from downtown Houston to visit me. We had a good time eating and talking. I think next time it is my turn to go over to downtown to eat. |

I am so sore from working out yesterday... I guess this means I am really out of shape. Anyway... had an interesting dream last night. I was with my girlfriend, we were on a train. She had a dog with her on a leash, but it is not her usual dog. It looked like her dog at home but it is just a bit lighter in color. As soon as we got off the train, I saw a dog in the distance running. At this time we were all in a big grassy field. Then my girlfriend started to call the dog in the distance to come over. The dog in the distance was her dog. Her dog came by and both dogs started to play. One was running around on a leash, while the other one was running free. Then I heard my girlfriend say to keep an eye on the dog with the leash because he might run away and not come back. I don?t remember much after that. Pretty weird dream right? What does it mean??? |

So... I went to work out today at the Houston City Club with my co-worker D. Tran. Boy, Talk about a fancy and ritzy place. It has a bunch of in door tennis courts, couple of racquetball courts, trace, weight room, and 2 restaurants. Wow ! |

Well.. I got my REDHAT in the office to upgrade to PHP 4.2.2. I guess I almost had it yesterday.. and I must had a brain cramp. Anway... for all of you that need to upgrade Redhat 7.1 - 7.3 's php to a newer version... go to Arvin's site. It works pretty well. |

Ok... I enjoy open source as much as the next geek, and I really like using this tool called Linux, but why is it so damn hard to upgrade something inside Linux? I am only trying to upgrade PHP inside Red Hat Linux 7.3 and it is like pulling teeth. Heck, it might be easier doing that. Anyway... I been trying to upgrade using RPM but they don't have any for 7.3 and all the newer ones have lot of dependency problems. Stupid stupid stupid.... anyway.... Monday is over... |

What a wonderful dinner ... yep ... Thanks to Min-Jye... I had some wonderful curry chicken... umm umm good. Well, just sitting here watching the baseball allstar game. It is pretty cool. Go NL !! This year the game is setup a little better, there will not be a tie game anymore. The winner get home field advantage for the World Series. Anyway ... WA looks pretty good huh? ... oh btw ... it's a blow out... but it is only the 5th inning. |

Well, after reading and reading and taking my Apex DVD player apart. I have determined that my poor cheap Apex-600A DVD player is not savable. Basically, the laser len is probably out of line. And the loader software in the drive suppose to self align ever time you power up, but I don?t think this drive is doing it. I am also have tried loading new firmware for the DVD drive in the Apex and I did not have any success. So? in short, I believe I am currently without a DVD player. Oh well? a dvd player will cost around 145 dollars? with Divx/MPEG4 abilities. But a plane ticket to Atlanta also cost around 150-200 dollars? with that said ? I think I will buy another ticket to Atlanta. |

My Apex 600 a DVD player that I had for 3 years is started to act really weird. It is not play any of my VCDs and or my dvds. I think the lens is dirty. I hope that is the only reason. I guess I will run to walmart or some tech store tomorrow and get me a cd player cleaner. Then again... if my player is really broken, then I can get one of those new divx dvd players ... cool! |

Every so often my friend Jim will send me some good pictures and some good stories. Well... today Jim sent me a riddle... it is pretty cool... so se if you can figure it out. Post it on the comment section below. In a couple of days I will post the result if no one got the answer. Have fun!!! Three men go to dinner and each buys a $10 steak meal. At the end of the meal the waitress presents them with their check totaling $30. They each chip-in $10 for a total of $30. The waitress goes back to the register where the manager tells her the meals should be discounted $5. Not knowing how to split $5 between three people, she gave them each one dollar back and kept $2 for herself. Together the men paid $30 and got $3 back meaning they paid a total of $27. The waitress kept $2 so that totals $29. Where did the last dollar go? |

OK... the commenting system is fixed... the fix was simple I just had to change this line $blog_id=<$ BlogItemNumber$>; in the blogger template to this line $blog_id="<$ BlogItemNumber$>"; in order for poster child php commenting system to work with the new blogger system. |
