Look at me here... it is 1:03 AM on a Sunday morning and I am at work. Yes, I still have a cold but there was a midnight job, and I am on call this week. Lucky Me. One thing, I did notice, while I was driving to work last night, was that downtown houston is quite active around midnight on Saturday. I guess it has been a while since I last went out that late. |

Being sick sucks... Well... I was in be most of the night last night. I slept from 6 to 9 and then from 11 to 7. I do feel a little bit more refreshed. I still have a itchy throat and a little cough though. Hopefully, I will be able to recover this weekend. I think I will get an early night of rest tonight as well. |

Well... it looks like I did not resolve the problem. I will need to come back to the office tonight around 8:00 pm which is their 9:00 am... it is only fair since they have to stay so late at work. Well... it is all good. |

I think I complain too much about everything. Yesterday, I complain about how sucky it is to get a traffic ticket, yet I do not go to court to fight it. Well... I guess I am just lazy that way. Or is it just a way the system makes it's money... they hold your time as ransom. Imagine if everyone that gets a traffic violation fights the system... then the system will be overloaded with traffic cases. Then again.. it might just mean that the traffic court is overloaded and they will probably just put people off until everyone is processed. So in short, no matter what you do... if you get a traffic citation... you will pay up. And that as they say is that. |

Divx in a stand alone DVD player? Yep... they have done it. It is out there now. The KiSS DVD player DP-450is it. Everything at first looks really cool and it make me want to go out there and order one now... but ... with a price tag of $319 (that's the cheapest too). I am thinking... nah... that is something I really can live without. I will just wait until it drops to $69.99. :-) |

Well... I was just looking at my traffic ticket that I got from Dallas County. This is how ridiculous this is ? or awesome? depending on how you look at it. Well, first of all, the ticket was not hand written, it was printed from a portable printer, with the price of the ticket already on it. Basically, the entire ticket was designed for efficiency. I guess the goal of the Dallas police is not to protect and serve but to collect and serve (more tickets). I mean, there is even a website to pay your ticket with a credit card. The wonders of the internet. Like I said earlier ? in some ways this is also very cool? but today? I say it sucks!!! Speed trap sucks! |

It is kind of interesting reading about what went on in my life a year ago. One again, I can not believe a year has passed away again. It is now 2003 and El Paso Stock is worst then ever.... I got to do something... and make a change or else... in one more year I will be looking back and saying the samething... now that will be sad. |

Wow... what a amazing weekend. Well... Friday night, Scott, Wendy, Tom, and John came over for dinner. It was wonderful. My mom is an awesome cook. Everyone had a good time and after our guest left, My parents, my sis, my girlfriend, and I played some mahjong and I think that is when I used up all my luck. It was still fun though. On Saturday, we drove up to Dallas for a wedding. On the way up, right at the edge of Dallas, I got a speeding ticket. I was doing 77mph on a 60 mph lane... so the cop say. Like I said, my luck ran out. Anyway, after a very very long wedding/reception, we finally got back to our friends house around 11pm and headed to bed. That night it was thundering and hailing, so everyone says... I was soundly asleep through the night. Yes ... I can sleep. After lunch on Sunday, we drove back to Houston. Today, my parents and Hsiu Hsiu heads back to Auburn. I miss them already. That's ok I will see them soon. So let me see... when can I plan for my next trip home ;-) |

To me playing racquet ball is like stepping in to the construct (from the matrix), where everything else is left behind and the only thing that matters is the ball. "Get that ball to the front wall". Anyway, I have not been back to the gym in a while and today I went there to play some racquetball with my friend Dwayne. Afterward, I ran a couple of laps on the track with my friend Dung and that is when I realized that my legs are like couple of bricks. They are so heavy... am I just plain out of shape or am I just letting the Matrix get to me. Nah... I think I am out of shape. |

WOAH... COOL HACKS... From www.insecure.org, someone noticed that in the new Matrix Reload movie, Trinity actually used NMAP to hack in to the aux power plant's computer system. The other program she used, "SSHNuke", is a fictional program, but it is still pretty cool huh... something from the real world in the movies. The shot only lasted a couple of seconds, but here are some screenshots for everyone to see.

I know I been away for a week, and I also miss this blog's 1 year anniversary, but I am back now and I will be returning to Houston tomorrow. So? first things first? Happy 1 year anniversary to Inside Mintrix.net. I also want to say that DC was a lot of fun. I do think that it was not as interesting as when I was a little boy, but we still had a lot of fun. I will try to post the pictures next week. Oh and I will also try to post some of the other events in the last 2 month soon as well. So, what?s new? Well, I just finish watching The Matrix Reloaded with my girlfriend. Yep, it was what I was afraid of. It was not as good as the first one. The FX is ok, pretty neat but nothing as cool as the first movie, however the plot twists and the development into the world of the matrix is more and more interesting. I don?t think it is all about the FX anymore? it is about the stories and the world of matrix. All in all? I think it was a fun movie to watch? I can?t wait until the 3rd movie comes out. |

Happy Mother's Day!!! Well... it has been a pretty good weekend... I saw X2 yesterday and it was pretty good. I really think they will have a X3 movie. Yeah... I would really suggest that anyone that have not see X2 yet, go see the movie... it is pretty good. But do watch the first one first!!! So today is mothers day. We went to Atlanta to send my sis off to Houston and had a wonderful lunch there. I think my mom really enjoyed her mother's day. Well... it is late... and we are driving to DC tomorrow... so Happy mother's day and good night. |

Well, My computer got it's finally upgrade today. It basically got a 2nd heart transplant from a P2-300 (over clocked to 450) to a P3-800. it's first was from a 350 to an overclock 300(AKA 450). It already has a 1 gig memory and 40 gigs of hd with scsi and a 2gig Jaz and a ATI all in wonder pro card. So... with this upgrade it has finally reached it max potential. So what is the history of this pc? Well... it is the same pc that I used in college.. which was bought 5 years ago. It is pretty old for a PC don't you think? Anyway, with the proc upgrade it actually speed up my anime viewing.... no longer do I get a jerky miss sync sound when I watch divx animes. |

Well... the game was pretty exciting last night. The score was 13-4 Astros, but it did not always feel like a blowout. At the top of the 7th ending the score was tied at 4-4. After the 7th ending stretch, the Astros turn it up a notch and won the game. Fun fun fun. Here are some pictures from the game.

Interesting.... I forgot all about Min Day.... well... Thanks Jeremiah. Yes, folks... today is Min Day.... so what is Min Day? Well, Min Day is something one of my friends came up with in high school. It pretty much lasted from my sophomore year to my senior year in high school. The first school day of May is Min day. On Min day, a little Min day badge was given out to everyone. The badge looks like a Star Trek communicator, and it have celebrate min day on the bottom. So the entire day, everyone, including the teachers, wear this paper badge all around campus. I swear ? I did not come up with this? so that?s Min day?. |
