On my way home to work … I decided to be a really big geek and see how many Wireless Access points I can pick up. So I downloaded Netstumbler and started scanning. On my way home, I have picked up 15 different non-elpaso Wireless Access points. Out of the 15 I picked up, I was able to sync and obtain an IP once, and 12 of those AP’s are not WEP secured. Kinda makes you wonder huh? I might post a full listing of public access location around town sometime.
